CYPE PV Systems is a BIM solution for the design, analysis and documentation of photovoltaic electrical systems. Designed for engineers working on solar energy projects, it streamlines every stage of the process, from importing architectural models in IFC format to defining and optimising system components. The program includes tools for modelling photovoltaic system components, such as solar panels, inverters and batteries, taking into account key parameters such as orientation, tilt and shading. It also features an energy design tool that calculates the number of photovoltaic modules required based on energy consumption and solar irradiance data. The program enables the automatic generation of single-line diagrams, the design of cabling and the preparation of quantities and bills of quantities, providing detailed results on energy generated, losses and electrical parameters. It is an ideal BIM solution for solar installation projects, ensuring regulatory compliance, efficiency and optimised management.

Integration with other BIM project disciplines

The projects developed in this tool can be integrated and made compatible with other project disciplines, thanks to the Open BIM workflow established via the use of the BIMserver.center platform.
