This module can use the AcouBAT by CYPE program, a tool developed by CYPE and the French organisation CSTB (Centre Scientifique et Technique du Bâtiment) to study the acoustic insulation and conditioning of any type of building

ACG

This module allows users to carry out acoustic insulation checks according to the calculation method described in the EN 12354 (ISO 15712) standards in CYPESOUND.

AL9

The AL9 module allows CYPE 3D to use the extruded aluminium section editor, which is intended to facilitate the design and checking of aluminium alloy sections with special cross-sections.

APG

The APG module is compatible with CYPE 3D and allows the program to determine the critical load factors and buckling deformations of the structure for each combination analysed by solving an eigenvalue problem.

APL

With this module, users can carry out the local buckling analysis of connections in CYPE Connect and StruBIM Steel.

APT

This module can be used to carry out the numerical analysis of linear thermal bridges in accordance with ISO 10211 in CYPETHERM EPlus and CYPETHERM BRIDGES.

AQ1

With this module, quantity lines can be obtained from DXF or DWG files in Arquimedes. Also, it allows users to import the quantities acquired in the CAD programs Allplan®, ArchiCAD® and +Extended® (AutoARQ).

ARQ

This module is the basic core of the Arquimedes tools and is needed to run all versions of the program.

ART

This module is used to select and use air-source heat pump systems in the systems developed in CYPEHVAC.

AUT

CYPECAD's AUT module has two options available that have been created to automatically generate the structure: Import of IFC files from CAD/BIM programs and Interpretation of DXF and DWG files.

BDR

This module is used to manage the simultaneous access to the same database (bills of quantities or cost databases) for several users connected in a network by means of a configuration of permissions and access modes.

C3D

The C3D module is the basic core of CYPECAD's tools and is required for the operation of all the program versions.

CAA

This module is used to analyse and design air ducts in HVAC systems in CYPEHVAC and CYPEHVAC Ductwork.

CAL

This module is used to select and use boilers in CYPEHVAC systems.

CCS

This module is used for the modelling, design and graphical documentation of connections between bars in steel structures, in StruBIM Steel and CYPE Connect.

CCT

This CYPE Connect module is used for modelling, analysing and graphically documenting the connections between bars in timber structures.

CDP

This module of Arquimedes allows for several existing bills of quantities to be included in a base bill of quantities, and maintain the link between the incorporated items and their original bills of quantities.

CHK

The CHK module automatically detects clashes between models from different disciplines.

CIS

Transversal module available for several CYPE applications that allows users to export to the standard CIS/2 interchange format to facilitate the data flow between the apps involved in the process for the analysis, design and manufacturing of steel structures.

CND

This module is used to check for the existence of surface and interstitial condensation in accordance with ISO 13788 in CYPETHERM EPlus and CYPETHERM HYGRO.

CNE

This module can be used with Open BIM Cable Routing to perform BIM modelling of cable routing systems.

CNH

The CNH module is compatible with CYPECAD and is used to verify the requirements for the seismic design of reinforced concrete nodes.

CP1

With this module, the CYPECAD, CYPE 3D and Foundation elements programs can calculate the sinking load in deep foundations using reinforced concrete piles.

CPO

This module activates Arquimedes and Job Control, offering the same features as the basic core of Arquimedes tools, but also adding features related to the budgetary control of the job.

CRA

This module can be used to analyse and design radiators, towel rail radiators and electrical emitters in heating systems in CYPEHVAC.

CSE

This module is used to automatically estimate the execution budgets of building projects in CYPE Cost Estimator when the bill of quantities value exceeds €5,000,000.

CSP

This module is used to automatically estimate the execution budgets of building projects in CYPE Cost Estimator when the bill of quantities value exceeds €1,000,000 but is less than €5,000,000.

DCE

This module can be used with the Open BIM Switchboard program to design the distribution panels.

E11

This module allows users to export to IFC EM. 11 in StruBIM Steel.

ECL

The ECL module is compatible with CYPECAD and allows the program to analyse and design the reinforcement of stair slabs as isolated elements of the structure.

EEC

The CYPECAD module EEC allows users to carry out a dynamic analysis of buildings exposed to seismic loads, which includes the effect of the non-structural building elements used in the façades and partitions of a building.

EMF

This module can be used with the CYPELEC MULTILINE program to draw multi-line diagrams of electrical installations.

ENZ

Using the ENZ module, CYPECAD and CYPE 3D can design foundations resolved using piles with their respective pile caps. This module also designs strap and tie beams spanning between the pile caps.

FDS

This module is used to calculate the dynamic simulation of the evolution of fires in buildings using the computational fluid dynamics model called FDS developed by NIST in CYPEFIRE FDS.

FPT

The CYPECAD module FPT, allows users to design the passive reinforcement of waffle slabs, in-situ joist floor slabs and their perimeter beams.

GCO

This module of Arquimedes allows users to calculate the supplies required to execute a job and foresee invoice payments from suppliers and subcontractors.

GEP

The GEP module is the basic module for using the Portal frame generator program and is a prerequisite for its operation. Geometry can be generated and loads can be applied on industrial warehouse-type structures, purlins can be analysed and the geometry and loads can be exported to CYPE 3D.

IEF

This module is used to design and analyse supply systems in buildings in CYPEPLUMBING ("Water Systems" tab).

IEP

This module enables the design and analysis of rainwater drainage systems in buildings to be carried out in CYPEPLUMBING ("Sanitary Systems" tab).

IES

This module is used to design and analyse solar thermal solar energy building services in CYPEPLUMBING ("Solar Systems" tab).

IET

This module can be used for the design and analysis of telecommunications installations in buildings in CYPETEL Systems and CYPETEL.

IFR

This module allows users to export reinforcement detailing from StruBIM Rebar to IFC and BVBS formats.

IFV

This module can be used with the CYPELEC PV Systems program to design and analyse electrical photovoltaic systems.

ILT

This module is used to carry out the interior lighting check in accordance with EN 12464-1 to be carried out in CYPELUX EN.

IMM

This module allows the energy audit of the building and the analysis of possible improvement measures, including the energy and economic analysis of the different alternatives, using CYPETHERM Improvements Plus and CYPETHERM Improvements.

ITE

ITE is a CYPECAD module that allows users to consider the settlements of the foundations and their interaction with the rest of the structure, in terms of both forces and deformation, by defining elastic stiffness constants in foundation elements.

LE1

This module can be used with the CYPELUX LEED program, which checks compliance with the indoor environmental quality requirements related to natural light as set out in the LEED certification.

LFL

The LFL module allows CYPECAD to analyse and design mat foundations and foundation beams accurately and in accordance with structural design standards.

LMA

The LMA module is compatible with CYPECAD and allows the program to analyse and design flat slabs.

LMX

The LMX module is compatible with CYPECAD and allows the program to analyse and design composite slabs ("steel deck").

LPS

CYPECAD's LPS module has been designed to carry out the design of the passive reinforcement of post-tensioned slabs, using the forces that have been obtained from analysing the post-tensioned tendons (bonded or unbonded), whose properties have been introduced by the program users.

M3D

The M3D module is the basic core of the CYPE 3D tools and is required for the operation of all program versions. When combined with C3D, it facilitates the connection between structures designed in CYPE 3D and CYPECAD by means of the "Integrated 3D Structures" feature.

MAD

Using the MAD module, CYPECAD and CYPE 3D analyse and design timber beams and generic bars.

MAP

The MAP module is compatible with CYPECAD and allows the program to analyse and design concrete block masonry walls.

MAR

The core module for using StruBIM Box Culverts and a prerequisite for running the program.

MCD

This module is used in StruBIM Embedded Walls for analysing and tracing slip circles in the global stability check.

MEN

The MEN module allows CYPECAD to analyse and design corbels on column faces.

MLL

The MLL module is compatible with CYPECAD and allows users to include electrowelded meshes with the aim of using them in the analysis of flat slabs, as well as the detailing of these meshes and obtaining reports and drawings with their quantities.

MSG

The MSG module in CYPECAD analyses the column forces of a generic material, defined by its modulus of elasticity, Poisson's ratio and unit weight. It also evaluates the forces of generic reinforced concrete sections and verifies their longitudinal reinforcement.

MTP

CYPECAD’s module: MTP, designs reduced thickness reinforced concrete walls with a single reinforcement plane, which are used as load bearing walls to support vertical loads and also resist horizontal forces acting in the plane of the wall.

MUC

This is the core module for using StruBIM Cantilever Walls and is a prerequisite for running the program as well as purchasing other modules.

MUG

This is the core module for using StruBIM Embedded Walls and is a prerequisite for running the program, as well as acquiring other modules.

MUH

In StruBIM Embedded Walls, this module is used for the analysis, design and reinforcement of reinforced concrete walls, concrete piles and mini piles.

MUS

The MUS module is compatible with CYPECAD and allows the program to analyse and design concrete walls and masonry walls.

MUT

In StruBIM Embedded Walls this module is used for the analysis and design of steel sheet piles from the "ArcelorMittal" catalogue and steel sheet piles with generic sections.

NFP

This module is used to design and analyse hydraulic fire protection systems (such as fire hose reels and sprinklers) in CYPEFIRE Hydraulic Systems.

NLD

The NLD module is compatible with CYPE 3D and allows the program to perform non-linear analyses of supports with uplift.

NLR

This module allows users to insert plastic hinges into bars in CYPE 3D.

NLT

The NLT module is compatible with CYPE 3D and allows the program to perform the non-linear analysis of bars that work only in tension.

OSP

It is a transverse module available for several CYPE applications that activates the operation of the OpenSees (Open System for Earthquake Engineering Simulation) analysis engine for linear and non-linear structural analysis.

PAN

The PAN module allows users to analyse and design reinforced concrete shear walls in CYPECAD.

PBE

This module can be used to perform the modelling and energy simulation of buildings with the EnergyPlus™ analysis engine.

PDS

This module can be used with the CYPEFIRE Pressure Systems program to analyse pressure differential systems designed to retain smoke in non-tight physical barriers in accordance with EN 12101-6.

PHA

Using the PHA module, CYPECAD and CYPE 3D design rectangular and circular reinforced concrete columns.

PLA

With the PLA module, CYPECAD and CYPE 3D can design, edit and check welded baseplates for any steel column layout and any type of material (rolled, reinforced and cold formed steel).

PMD

With the PMD module, CYPECAD can analyse and design rectangular and circular section timber columns.

PMT

With the PMT module, steel columns can be introduced into CYPECAD so that they can be designed and built up according to the code selected.

PMX

Using the PMX module, CYPECAD and CYPE 3D design composite steel and concrete columns composed of rectangular or circular concrete columns with an encased steel section, Rolled steel plate box sections, filled with concrete; rectangular, square and circular hollow sections filled with concrete.

PPA

The PPA module is compatible with CYPECAD and allows the program to analyse and design hollow core floor slabs.

PUN

With the PUN module, CYPECAD checks the Failure Limit State of concrete for punching shear in flat slabs, waffle slabs and mat foundations using two methods.

Q04

With the Q04 module and computers equipped with several parallel processors, users can save a significant amount of time in the analysis process of the associated programs.

RAD

This module is used to analyse and design underfloor heating and cooling systems in CYPEHVAC Radiant Floor.

RET

The RET module is used to analyse and design waffle slabs in CYPECAD.

RMP

The RMP module is compatible with CYPECAD and allows the program to analyse and design ramp slabs as isolated elements of the structure.

RVT

This module connects Arquimedes with Revit to obtain bills of quantities from Revit BIM models, installs a CYPE plugin in Revit to work simultaneously in both programs or just in Arquimedes, and it is the essential base module for using Open BIM Quantities.

SBA

The CYPE Connect Anchors - Concrete anchors module is used for designing anchors and is compatible with both CYPE Connect and StruBIM Steel. It is also used as a license to work with StruBIM Anchors ACI 318, for checking anchors in concrete elements based on the ACI standard.

SDF

This module is used to enable the selection and use of fan coils in air-conditioning systems made in CYPEHVAC.

SDV

This module is used by StruBIM Shear Walls to design and check diagonally braced coupling beams.

SDW

This is the core module for using StruBIM Shear Walls and is a prerequisite for running the program, as well as acquiring other modules.

SEC

This module is used to enable the selection and use of compact equipment in systems made in CYPEHVAC.

Using the UVM module, CYPECAD analyses and designs timber joist floor slabs.

VGT

This module is used to carry out the design of deep beams in StruBIM Deep Beams.

VHA

The VHA module is for use in CYPECAD and CYPE 3D and allows users to introduce and design various types of concrete beams.

VMT

With the VMT module, the following types of beams can be introduced and designed: steel beams below a floor slab or aligned with its upper face and composite steel beams linked to the floor slab with connectors.

ZAP

In CYPECAD and CYPE 3D, the ZAP module can be used to design foundations made of reinforced concrete rigid footings or mass concrete footings, either isolated or combined, tie and strap beams between footings and, in CYPECAD, strip footings for walls.

ZCA

In CYPECAD, the ZCA module is used to design foundations with special element intersections, establish polygonal limits of footings, and apply loads on footings, pile caps and strap and tie beams. In CYPE 3D, it facilitates the layout of polygonal limits for footings.

CYPE 3D is an agile and efficient program created for the analysis and design of three-dimensional structures with elements made of concrete, steel, composite concrete and steel, aluminium, timber, or any other material, and includes the sizing of connections (welded and bolted connections of rolled and welded steel I sections and hollow structural sections) and their foundations with baseplates, footings, pile caps, and strap and tie beams.

CYPE Connect

CYPE Connect can model and analyse, in addition to steel element connections, connections between timber structural elements as well as steel-to-timber connections, using the finite element method. This application uses the OpenSees calculation engine.

StruBIM Steel

StruBIM Steel is a program developed for the creation and maintenance of BIM models for structural steel detailing.This program allows users to create a precise BIM model that includes the necessary elements (sections, plates, bolts, butt welds and anchorage) to define the structure. For the results output the program provides shop drawings in DSTV format.

CYPEHVAC

CYPEHVAC is a program for designing air conditioning systems that covers heating, ventilation and air conditioning. This tool allows users to design radiators, fan coils, boilers, heat pumps, ducted ventilation networks, heat recovery units, fans and air handling units. The application allows the necessary information to be imported from other Open BIM tools, so that both the architectural models and the results of the CYPETHERM LOADS analysis can be used in the system design.

CYPEHVAC Radiant Floor

CYPEHVAC Radiant Floor is a BIM application for designing radiant floor heating and cooling systems. The software imports architectural models developed in IFC format, where systems can be entered and designed using different tools. There are three main options offered by the program: automatically entering circuits, updating the pattern considering both obstacles and spaces; and automatically measuring the materials necessary for the complete installation of the systems.

CYPETEL Systems

CYPETEL Systems is an Open BIM programme for designing telecommunications installations in buildings. The tool can import architectural models in IFC formats, on the basis of which technicians will design telecommunications installations by introducing the different components and taking into account the design criteria defined in different codes. These criteria are automatically checked in the programme.
