CYPELEC M05 provides a selection of BIM tools specialised in designing, analysing and documenting electrical installations in various types of buildings. Aimed at installation engineers. Covering everything from creating or importing the geometric model of the building to the detailed design of the systems. Includes tools for the BIM modelling of electrical mechanisms and cable conduit systems; design of electrical installation panels (cabinets, panels and switchboards) and the analysis of low-voltage electrical systems. Includes the design of photovoltaic systems, enables the automatic preparation of multi-line diagrams and the advanced analysis of the grounding system. It is an ideal BIM solution for installation projects that seek to maximise compliance with codes and ensure efficiency in their management.

Integration with other BIM project disciplines

The projects developed in this tool can be integrated and made compatible with other project disciplines, thanks to the Open BIM workflow established via the use of the BIMserver.center platform.

IFC Builder

IFC Builder is a free CYPE application designed for the creation and maintenance of IFC building models.

CYPELEC Electrical Mechanisms

Architectural modelling of terminal elements in electrical and telecommunications systems (switches, sockets and audiovisual and telephony connectors).

CYPELEC Distribution

CYPELEC Distribution is a program for 3D implantation of the distribution of circuits and loads for electrical installation projects.

CYPELEC

CYPELEC is a program created for designing low voltage electrical systems. CYPELEC includes different programs according to the applicable standards: CYPELEC Core, CYPELEC REBT, CYPELEC NF and CYPELEC RETIE.

Open BIM Cable Routing

Open BIM Cable Routing is a program designed for the BIM modelling of cable routing systems. The tool allows users to spatially lay out manufacturers' solutions for cable routing, both for electrical cables and telecommunication cables, in a three-dimensional work environment.

CYPELEC PV Systems

CYPELEC PV Systems is a tool to assist users in the design of on-grid photovoltaic systems (amongst which are self-consumption installations) or off-grid photovoltaic systems.

Open BIM Switchboard

Open BIM Switchboard has been created to design the enclosures that are present in electrical systems (cabinets, panels and switchboards).

CYPELEC MULTILINE

CYPELEC MULTILINE is a program designed to draw, manually or automatically, the multiline diagram of an electrical installation.

CYPE Lightning

CYPE Lightning is a free application designed to carry out the 3D layout of the elements of a lightning safety installation to protect against the risks caused by lightning. The program calculates, verifies and describes the safety installation including all the elements it consists of: ESE type lightning rod (early streamer emission lightning conductor), boxes with their respective grounding connections, connections with metal elements on façades and with receiver sets (antennas), grounding conductors, etc.
